This is a story about the people of site -b at K-section who were remove from their homes and taken to a place that they were not familiar with,because they were told that the space was for them to build new houses for the K-section people but things did not happen according to the agreement.Some people think that they were treated unfairly and very bad.They were taken to Makhaza of which that made their lives more difficult when it comes to transport . Makhaza is more expensive comparing with Site-b and fact that they don't have any electricity where they are currently leaving.
A very sad and furious person from K -section is very angry with the committee members "I feel that the A.N.C members and our committee members had something to do with us being neglected like this cause they never did a follow up to check on our situation,they're running away from us,because we are not satisfied with their actions and we want answers"
According to the way I see this these people feel very disappointed by their leaders because some of them say that they are not suppose to be in Makhaza according to the letters they received from Africon,In any way the people from K feel that there is corruption in this project.The situation in Makhaza is much worse than in site because now two families have to share a yard because of lack of space,as result there are approximately 10 people per house and some of them depend on child support grant and selling some items.

Yes I know Makhaza , I have been there , it is off the N1 and if I remember on the coast road toward Muizenberg , there was little there in 1999 , and very out of the way . Surly some arrangement , should have been made for this extra expense , getting to and from , Makhaza and site B , Let alone the bad condition's already there . It seems nothing of real difference , has changed in the last few years for those most effected by the unfairness of the government , whether the government be white or black . This is the most hurtful it seems , and must , effect the people. It only goes to prove that the peoples capitol , in the hands of the few , can easily turn sour .
